LETTER FROM BUSINESSEUROPE TO THE PRESIDENT OF EU COUNCIL
The President of the Council José Luis Rodriguez Zapatero met today in Madrid BUSINESSEUROPE President Jürgen R. Thumann, the President of the Spanish Confederación Espaňola de Organizaciones Empresariales, (CEOE) Gerardo Diaz Ferrán, BUSINESSEUROPE Director General Philippe de Buck and CEOE General Secretary José Maria Lacasa to discuss the Spanish government’s plans for the European Union during the Spanish Presidency.
The European business leaders handed over the Spanish Prime Minister a letter explaining what the 40 member federations affiliated to BUSINESSEUROPE, which represents around 20 million small, medium-sized and large European companies, would like to see achieved during the Spanish Presidency.
