EU GREENLIGHTS 2.6 BILLION EUROS IN AID TO BULGARIA
The EU gave the green light on Tuesday to two other post-accession programmes.
The European Union gave Bulgaria full access to two Operational Programmes - Competitiveness and Transport, Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov said on Wednesday. With the money Bulgaria will improve its transport infrastructure and boost competitiveness, he added.
The EU gave the green light on Tuesday to two other post-accession programmes for regional development and technical assistance -- with 1.4 billion euros at stake. Bulgaria is also awaiting approval for three more such aid funds related to environment, human resources and administrative capacity
