LOSSES FROM BORDER BLOCKADE TOP BGN 13M
The checkpoint at Kulata-Promahonas is opened only for a few hours a day.
The losses of Bulgarian companies from the continuing border blockade by Greek farmers have topped BGN 13.5 million so far, according to official documents, the crisis headquarters said. The checkpoint at Kulata-Promahonas is opened only for a few hours a day and more than 300 heavy-duty trucks were waiting to cross the border on Wednesday.
The blockade is unlikely to be lifted soon, as the strike in Greek is expanding with more and more sectors joining in. Most major roads within Greece are also closed.
