FIVE YEARS BAN FOR PRODUCTION OF GMOS IN BULGARIA
Five years veto for GMO products – this is the decision, taken by the Parliament Nature and Waters Commission, informs Focus News Agency.
The decision was anonymous - 11 MEPs voted in favour of the decision and nobody was against. Members from DPS did not participate in the vote because they wanted a permanent veto.
The decision enters in force immediately when published officially in State Gazzeta. During the next five years no new applications for license will be accepted.
