33% of the Bulgarian citizens are concerned that they will not be able to pay back their credits, points out a study, conducted by MBMD. 1200 respondents have been included in the report.

People with secondary education are first to draw loans. Half of them come from the private sector. The average house credit for March 2009 is estimated at 45 217 levs, while in May it slips to 34 000 levs. However consumer credit soars for the same period – from 5 600 levs in March to 6 500 levs in May.

Only 20% of the Bulgarians think that the financial crisis won’t affect them.
