On 24 May, the Embassy of Switzerland, the Swiss Chamber of Commerce for Belgium and Luxemburg together with two of BUSINESSEUROPE’s member federations, economiesuisse (Switzerland) and FEB-VBO (Belgium), organised a visit for some guests to discover the famous Solar Impulse plane. BUSINESSEUROPE’s Director General Philippe de Buck attended the event and witnessed a concentration of European knowledge and technology, and how much overcoming environmental challenges is present in the minds of European visionaries. It was an opportunity to exchange views on renewable energies and new technologies with aeronaut Bertrand Piccard and pilot André Borschberg.
