A TOTAL OF BGN 210 MLN UNDER THE RURAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME HAS BEEN AGREED
"A total of BGN 210 mln, under various measures of the Rural Development Programme (RDP), was agreed in June ," reported experts from the State Fund Agriculture.
The work on the applications filed in 2008 and 2009 under 6 of the measures of the programme: Vocational Training, Outreach and Dissemination of Scientific Knowledge, Modernization of Agricultural Holdings, Adding Value to Agricultural and Forestry Products, Encouragement of Tourism Activities, Basic Services for the Population and the Rural Economy and under the Renovation and Development of Settlements measure has been completed.
The processing of 263 applications, filed in 2010 under measure 214 Environmental Payments, item Organic Crop Production, has been completed as well. The funds agreed exceed BGN 2 mln.
