SECOND SYMPOSIUM ON HOW TO DEVISE SMART REGULATION
On 20 October, BUSINESSEUROPE and the Community of European Railway and Infrastructure Companies (CER) held a second symposium on smart regulation. The event took place at the Representation of the Free State of Bavaria to the EU. Two panels debated how to improve impact assessments and how to improve stakeholder involvement. Commission Secretary General Catherine Day gave the keynote speech and Dr. Edmund Stoiber, Chair of the High-Level Group of Independent Stakeholders on Administrative Burdens, gave the closing remarks.
