Goals:
- Explore employees’ and employers’ perspective on a ‘quality job’ and understand the different aspects which may be important when relating to a ‘quality job’.
- Identify, by exploring the country-specific realities, what are the elements of ‘quality jobs’.
- Understand and explain whether the concept of ‘quality jobs’ is rather objective or subjective and why.
- Scrutinize the national economies on quality jobs and identify whether the common elements differ from one economic sector to the other.
- Improve the participating national social partners’ contribution to the European social dialogue,by enabling the European social partners to understand the region perspective and country situations.
- Prepare social partners for negotiations or advocacy contributing to the Roadmap at EU level and support their implementation at national level.
- Strengthen the capacity of social partners to respond at national level to challenges related to changes in employment and working conditions as resulted from the implementation of the Quality Jobs Roadmap.
- Strengthen the capacity of social partner organisations to engage in effective social dialogue at national with a focus on sectors where such dialogue is underdeveloped or fragmented.
