Goals:
The project general objective is to enhance the access to VET for all, and to toggle the skills mismatches in the most needed economic sectors. The project will enhance the dialogue between the business and VET providers, and development of new Virtual Reality (VR) training content, with specific focus on:
- Linking business and VET through development of VR solutions for integration of the VET curriculum with the work-based learning.
- Enhancing the access to VET through providing integrated online distant VR learning experience.
- Supporting the VET providers through development of digital tools for applying virtual work-based training.
Target groups:
- Apprentices and students in VET;
- VET teachers and trainers in high schools and VET centers.
- We are expecting more than 200 direct participants to be involved in the project implementation.
Main activities:
- Innovative VET curricula blending VR and EU standards
- Methodology for integration and Assignment for development of e-learning web platform with VR practical module
- Software development of a VR Builder core
- E-learning VET platform for RES trainers and learners
- Pilot database of OERs
The dissemination events to be held in the countries, represented in the project partnership will share the project achievements with the stakeholders and the public.
Main results:
- VR adapted Methodology for integrated interaction between the business and VET providers
- Web-portal for framework linking of interests and content
- Modules for creation and upload of VR and 360° VET content
- Pilot trainings in selected business occupations using VR and 360° technologies
- Communication tools between VET providers, VET students and businesses
