A meeting of the Management Board of the Bulgarian Industrial Association (BIA) was held on 10 June 2026.
The Board members approved the 2025 Annual Activity Report and the 2025 Annual Financial Statement of BIA and were informed about the main highlights of the Association’s activities during the period 22 April – 10 June 2026.
In connection with Bulgaria’s accession to the euro area from the beginning of 2026, the Board approved the conversion of the capital of BIA’s subsidiaries – BIA Properties Ltd., BIA-Commerceconsult Ltd., Bozhidar Danev Publishing House Ltd., and BIC Capital Market Ltd. – from Bulgarian levs into euros, in accordance with Article 32(5) of the Law on the Introduction of the Euro in the Republic of Bulgaria.
By decision of the Management Board, the composition of the Arbitration Panel of the Arbitration Court at BIA was expanded with four new members: Ivaylo D. Toskov, attorney-at-law at Andrey Delchev and Partners Law Firm; Magdalena N. Valova, attorney-at-law at Andrey Delchev and Partners Law Firm; Rositsa H. Yotova, attorney-at-law at Justus Law Firm; and Dr Ramona-Elisabeta Cârlig, an attorney from Romania with extensive international experience.
The Board also admitted two companies as full members of BIA:
- Anvi International Education and Travels Ltd., a company providing employment mediation services, promoting Bulgarian higher education institutions among Indian students, and offering related services. Established on 21 July 2022, the company is registered with the Bulgarian Employment Agency as a private employment agency and is affiliated with the international network Anvi International Education and Travels, operating in India in the fields of educational consulting, language training, and migration and overseas employment support.
- Unica Healthcare Ltd., engaged in the import and wholesale and retail trade of food supplements and health foods, as well as consultancy services. The company is the European importer and distributor of Dr Barry Sears’ product line and operates through its online store EnerZona, promoting the Zone nutrition method.
The Board members also approved the schedule of Management Board meetings for the remainder of 2026. The next meetings will be held on 30 September, 4 November, and 16 December 2026.
