In comparison with October 2024, a decline of 7.7% was registered in the calendar-adjusted Industrial Production Index.
Monthly changes
In October 2025, compared to the previous month, a decrease was seen in the mining and quarrying industry - by 13.3%, in the manufacturing - by 3.6%, while a rise was registered in the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply - by 8.6%.
More significant decline in the manufacturing was reported in the repair and installation of machinery and equipment - by 22.6%, and in the manufacture of tobacco products - by 16.4%.
In the manufacturing, an increase was reported in the manufacture of other transport equipment - by 7.9%, and in the other manufacturing - by 7.3%.
Annual changes
On an annual basis, a drop of the Industrial Production Index was observed in the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply - by 10.9%, in the mining and quarrying industry - by 10.7%, and in the manufacturing - by 6.5%.
In the manufacturing, a significant decline in production, compared to the same month of the previous year, was seen in the repair and installation of machinery and equipment - by 24.8%, in the manufacture of food products - by 22.4%, in the manufacture of textiles - by 20.9%.
A rise was reported in the manufacture of furniture - by 27.1%, in the manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers - by 13.0%, in the manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products - by 11.8%, and in the manufacture of tobacco products - 11.2%.
Construction production indices - October 2025
In October 2025, the production index in the ‘Construction’ section decreased by 1.1% compared to the previous month. The data are preliminary and seasonally adjusted.
The calendar-adjusted data showed a rise of 3.1% in the construction production compared to the same month of 2024.

In October 2025, compared to the previous month, a decrease was seen in the civil engineering and in the production of specialized construction activities - both by 1.7%, as well as in the production of building construction - by 0.1%.

In October 2025, compared to the same month of 2024, a rise of the production was registered in the civil engineering - by 4.9%, in the construction of buildings - by 2.8%, and in the specialized construction activities - by 2.1%.
