Dear supporters,
I hereby inform you that the Bulgarian Industrial Association (BIA) has successfully passed the procedure for establishing the criteria for national level representation of employers' organizations, held in 2024.
On 29.01.2025 the Government adopted Decision No. 48 on the recognition of the Bulgarian Industrial Association as a representative organisation of employers at national level for 4 years (State Gazette No. 9/31.01.2025).
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your trust in us and to assure you that we will do our best to live up to it. BIA has received credentials from over 20 000 enterprises, branch and regional organisations, employing almost 680 000 people under contract. In this way, we have repeatedly met the criteria for national representation set out in the Labour Code. We take this as a high evaluation of our work, but also as a challenge to make more and more efforts to work to protect the interests of BIA’s members.
I would like to assure you that our doors and senses will continue to be wide open to the problems you face, the goals you pursue and the successes you achieve.
I am convinced that unity makes strength, that unity in our big family is a prerequisite to defend even more successfully the interests of Bulgarian employers and industrialists, of the people who with their work and sleepless nights ensure the prosperity of Bulgarian society.
