The company was recognized as a leader at the twelfth edition of the ICAP CRIF Bulgaria initiative
Once again, Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria was honored with the prestigious TRUE LEADERS award at the twelfth edition organized by ICAP CRIF Bulgaria, the largest business information services group in Southeastern Europe. The company secured the leading position in the "Manufacture of soft drinks, mineral and other bottled waters" sector thanks to its established presence in the industry and various objective indicators such as credit stability, high profitability, and more. On December 11, the initiative celebrated 78 Bulgarian enterprises and gathered managers from leading local and international companies and representatives of business associations and industrial chambers nationwide.
"On behalf of the entire team at Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria, I thank you for this significant recognition of our achievements over the past year, which we will remember as exceptional. At the beginning of the year, our team in Bulgaria received the highest award in the Coca-Cola HBC world among all 29 countries—the "Andrew David" Cup. Also, receiving the TRUE LEADER recognition is an honor and a motivation for us to continue giving our best," shared Krum Stoimenov, Chief Financial Officer of Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria, during the awards ceremony. "This recognition motivates us to continuously prove that we can break our records and that it is up to us to make the impossible possible," he added.
The recognition for Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria highlights the company’s sustainable leadership and contribution to the country’s economic development. In 2023 alone, the Coca-Cola System companies in Bulgaria contributed over BGN 994 million in added value. Their total contribution equates to 0.5% of the country’s gross domestic product, with every BGN 1 spent on Coca-Cola products generating an additional BGN 0.75 of revenue for the economy. Furthermore, the System generates nearly 1% of Bulgaria’s tax revenues - enough to cover two-thirds of the state’s cultural expenses or the annual educational costs for 170,000 children. The System reinforces its support for the Bulgarian economy by purchasing goods and services worth BGN 222 million from local suppliers, stimulating regional business development and ensuring sustainable economic connections in the country.
The prestigious TRUE LEADERS initiative, organized by ICAP CRIF Bulgaria, recognizes dozens of companies in Bulgaria that meet a range of objective and measurable standards, including high profitability, staff growth or retention, credit stability, and sector leadership.
