Yordan Slavov takes up the position of Sales Director and Maria Karanedeva succeeds him in the role of Coffee & Premium Spirits Business Director

Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria announces two new key appointments to its management team as part of its long-term strategy to develop talent and strengthen its leadership position in the market. With these changes, the country's largest beverage producer underscores its commitment to providing career growth and internal development opportunities for its team members, while continuing to focus on developing an innovative and sustainable business.

Yordan Slavov, who held the Coffee & Premium Spirits Business Director position, will be the new Sales Director of Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria. He takes over from Yavor Stefanov, who assumed the role of General Manager at the beginning of October. Slavov has been part of the Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria team since 2008 and has held several management roles in marketing and sales. As Key Account Director and Regional Sales Director, he has recorded impressive achievements including achieving the highest engagement score in his region and serious revenue growth in the Key Account division. In his most recent role, Yordan and his team successfully launched Bacardi's portfolio brands and consolidated Finlandia Vodka's leading position in the Bulgarian market.

"I am extremely grateful for the opportunities that Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria has always given me over the years, as well as for the trust to take on the position of Sales Director. We face different challenges and at the same time tremendous opportunities for growth and I am confident that together with our talented and motivated team we will continue to build on the successes we have achieved to date," said Yordan Slavov.

In place of Yordan Slavov as Coffee & Premium Spirits Business Director is Maria Karanedeva, who was Regional Sales Director at the company. Maria joined Coca-Cola HBC Bulgaria in 2010 and is one of the proven leaders in the team - with extensive experience in sales, modern trade, and talent development. In her previous role as Regional Director, she led a team of over 90 professionals and was responsible for 6,500 customer partnerships, bringing change in terms of sales rep engagement and making significant progress on key initiatives to improve the company's structure and processes.

"I am delighted to have the opportunity to join the company's leadership team and will do my best to continue the successful development of two very important categories that are part of our 24/7 portfolio, namely coffee and premium spirits, which have tremendous growth potential," said Maria Karanedeva, adding, "Our portfolio is among the strongest, richest and most versatile in the beverage sector in the country and offers leading consumer brands. I do not doubt that, together with our team, we will continue to strengthen them in the market and create additional value for our partners and consumers."
