Today was held the first meeting for 2024 of the newly elected (on 1 November 2023) Board of Management of BIA.
The members of the Management Board were briefed on the main highlights of BIA's operational activities in the period 1 November 2023 - 10 January 2024.
The following papers were adopted:
- BIA's Work Programme for 2024, in accordance with the Guidelines for Activities adopted by the XVIth General Assembly;
- Internal Rules of the BIA for the submission of reports under the Whistleblowers Protection Act;
- Amendments and additions to the Rules of the Court of Arbitration at the BIA, related to the inclusion of mediation as a possible activity of the Court of Arbitration, in view of the establishment of the Mediation Centre and the e-mediation Platform in the summer and autumn of this year.
Four new companies were accepted as full members of BIA. The next Board meeting will be held on 13 March 2024.
