Thanks to the partnership between the Bulgarian Industrial Association (BIA) and the KVK Business Challenge, 6 new challenges on topics related to the need for sustainable practices have been published on the BIA platform for open innovations.
The new challenges are:
- Circular Packaging Delivery Model - How can the company work together with innovative parties in the Food Supply chain to deliver a 100% Circular Packaging Delivery model that is desirable / convenient for consumers (Experience, innovative packaging system), feasible (Supply chain set up, Shelf life, Food safety) profitable (healthy margin) for the full supply chain.
- Eliminate outer cartons - How can the company efficiently send single-item orders to customers without additional bol.com branded packaging (master outer carton), considering issues like privacy, quality and theft?
- Pancake shaker concept more sustainable - How can the company make the pancake shaker concept more sustainable while maintaining its appeal to the consumer in it easy of use and convenience.
- Sustainable salad trays - How can the company use innovative packaging designs to make its private label salad trays more sustainable for a retail organisation?
- Sustainable alternative APET food packaging - How can the company transfer their APET packaging into a more sustainable variant?
- Re-use, recycle or compost coffee cups - How can the company develop a sustainable coffee cup that is reusable, recyclable or compostable and guarantees the quality of the coffee and ease of use?
