There is a demand for labor in various industries in the Kyustendil region

There are jobs for Ukrainian citizens fleeing the war. This was stated by representatives of the employers' organizations before the regional governor of Kyustendil region Katya Dimitrova. The meeting took place at the invitation of the regional governor, in connection with the readiness of the region to receive refugees from Ukraine. It was attended by the Chairman of the Regional Structure of the Bulgarian Industrial Association Leonid Hazdai, Tosho Mukhtanov - on behalf of the Association of Industrial Capital in Bulgaria, Angelina Vlashka - Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Association, Deputy Governor Lubomir Terziiski and Secretary General of Kyustendil District Administration Gergana Mihailova, Director of the Directorate "Administrative Control, Regional Development and State Property" Vasilka Mancheva and senior expert Silvia Stoyanova.

There is a demand for labor in various industries in the Kyustendil region. Representatives of employers' organizations united around this opinion. Before the regional governor Katya Dimitrova, they expressed hope that among those in need of asylum in Bulgaria there will be a skilled workforce.

The Tourism Association is committed to providing about 30 jobs - support staff. There is a need for staff at the Torgoterm plant in Kyustendil, which currently employs about 340 people. The Chairman of the Regional Structure of the Bulgarian Industrial Association, Leonid Hazdai, also declared his readiness to assist in securing work, without specifying a specific number.

District Governor Katya Dimitrova thanked for the responsiveness, expressing hope that joint efforts of institutions and businesses will help Ukrainians who have chosen to settle in Kyustendil District.
