The Ministry of Labor and Social Policy presented the first annual awards in the field of corporate social responsibility for 2021. The awards honored the good practices of socially responsible management of companies and their commitment to various social causes that promote the development of employees, the environment and society.

"Corporate social responsibility is a topic that will become increasingly popular and will seek its place in our daily lives with increasing perseverance. In recent years, more and more companies and structures of the public and civil sector are realizing that the highest returns are investments in the development of their employees and the implementation of causes that improve quality of life and support social, economic and environmentally sustainable development of society”, said the Minister of Labor and Social Policy Georgi Gyokov at the opening of the ceremony.

He presented the awards in the category "Human Resources", in which the winner is the "Union of Brewers in Bulgaria". The organization presented a project dedicated to the sustainable development of social dialogue and collective bargaining. Prizes for second and third place went to Kaufland Bulgaria EOOD and Co KD and Lovech District Administration.

The awards in the "Society" category were presented by Deputy Minister Ivan Krastev. The first place went to "Ideal Standard - Vidima" with a project supporting various spheres of public life - education, health, art, culture and sports. In second and third place were the Union of Brewers in Bulgaria and Vinex Slavyantsi AD.

In the category "Environment" the awards were presented by Petar Nachev, Director of the Directorate "Living Level, Demographic Policy and Social Investments" at the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy. The winner in the category was Gopet Trans EOOD with a project to reduce carbon emissions in the field of transport and logistics. Carlsberg Bulgaria AD and Kaufland Bulgaria EOOD and Co. ranked second and third.
