"Bulgarian business needs intensive care," BIA Chairman Dobri Mitrev told Darik Radio's Sedmitsata.
"For those who have resources and secured markets, and the price of energy is not decisive for their production, debt instruments are fine; for others, they are not. We should have financial instruments with favourable credit conditions, but there must also be grants. I don't like the word "help" - it's "support" at a critical time. We need intensive care for the Bulgarian economy. They are complicated, severe, and come with side effects, but are life-saving, " Dobri Mitrev stated.
"Bulgarian entrepreneurs haven't stopped dreaming, even though they do not have a regular government," Dobri Mitrev said at the beginning of the conversation. He added that the business stands united, and the goal is the prosperity of the Bulgarian state.
"Political parties do not seem to realise that they need to be unifiers, that they ought to talk to each other and seek the good of society," he said.
He also approved the caretaker government, saying it had given business peace of mind, especially in contrast to the last regular government.
