Оptimism for business - a few days ago the temporary Minister of Finance Asen Vassilev announced the start of an e-invoicing project, stated Yasen Tanev, Chairman of the Bulgarian Association for Business Software Development (member of BIA), on "Business Start" hosted by Hristo Nikolov.
The project for software fiscalization and electronic invoices should reduce the costs for communication with the National Revenue Agency and should be much safer, Tanev predicts.
"This is a clear message with two directions. The first- in its current form Ordinance 18 is administratively severe and needs rethinking. Secondly, electrification is inevitable and invoices must start arriving real-time," Tanev explained.
Currently, the business has received a signal that it's time for alternatives to Ordinance 18. The modern business needs a new technological framework for communication with the NRA, and will finally get a nearly completed pilot project for e-shops, said Tanev.
The project for electronic invoicing should reduce the costs of the business for communication with the National Revenue Agency and this should be done in a much safer way, Tanev predicts.
"The reduced administrative burden gives young people and small businesses a chance to get involved without being ruined by the administrative burden and the 350 pages of the classic regulation," he added.
The guest also added that if the business gets these two alternatives, the manufacturers of cash registers will become software fiscalizers, because the microcomputers can send data directly to the NRA.
"Whoever wants to use cash registers and live within H-18, will be free to do so, but if there's an option, it should be defined clearly and separately: you either use a cash register or take advantage of a modern form of handing over documents, "Tanev concluded.
Yasen Tanev commented that it is possible to complete the business model, technical documentation, secure data transfer by the beginning of July, and possibly have a concept for change by the end of July.
