The conditions for applying  for the program will soon be announced

The second phase of the working capital support program for the affected businesses by the anti-epidemic measures is underway. All approved and supported applicants from the first phase of the program will receive a notification from the National Revenue Agency containing an invitation to continue its working capital support due to the newly enforced lockdown. Interested businesses can apply for help for the period February or February and March 2021, as restaurants remained closed in February, and bars and nightclubs were shut down at the end of March; other economic sectors with restricted activities are also considered as potential applicants for the program. The NRA will provide additional information to determine the amount of support within the next 7 working days. If companies have applied for support based on their October 2020 turnover, they will have to agree to update the amount of aid, per the amendment of the law, according to which the funds are provided for the entire period until they can normally carry out their activities.

The NRA clarifies that the second phase of the program is not subjected to support activities that were suspended for the period 22.03.2021 - 31.03.2021 under the order № RD-01-173 / 18.03.2021 issued by the Minister of Health.

The support mechanism and the application parameters for the third phase of the project, which concerns enterprises affected by the anti-epidemic measures introduced on March 22, 2021, are to be announced. The candidates will apply separately in the third phase of the program.

So far, the NRA has funded over BGN 75 million to more than 6,000 companies under the working capital support mechanism. The NRS has assisted in the operation of more than 15,000 sites, of which over 70% are restaurants.

More information about the program can be found in the section "Support through working capital for SMEs" on the website of the Agency or at the Information Center of the NRA on 0700 18 700.
