During the period January - May 2020 the exports of goods from Bulgaria to the EU decreased by 7.7% compared to the same period of 2019 and amounted to BGN 14 237.7 million (Tables 1 and 2 of the Annex). Bulgaria's main trade partners are Germany, Romania, Italy, Greece, France and Belgium, which account for 70.9% of exports to EU Member States (Annex, Table 3).

In May 2020 the exports of goods from Bulgaria to the EU decreased by 17.9% compared to the same month of the previous year and amounted to 2 537.0 Million BGN.

During the period January - June 2020, exports of goods from Bulgaria to third countries decreased by 10.5% compared to the same period of 2019 and amounted to BGN 8,890.3 million (Tables 1 and 2 of the Annex). Bulgaria's main trading partners are Turkey, China, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Serbia, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Northern Macedonia, which account for 54.0% of exports to third countries (Annex, Table 3).

In June 2020 the exports of goods from Bulgaria to third countries decreased by 18.1% compared to the same month of the previous year and amounted to 1 378.9 Million BGN.
