The role of the protests, the money that was agreed upon in Brussels for our country, and what happened in Bulgaria during the health crisis – these were the topics, that were commented in the studio of "Bulgaria in the Morning" with Vanya Grigorova from Podkrepa and Dimitar Brankov from BIA.

"A budget of BGN 1 billion was set aside for the 60/40 measure, which was expected to be insufficient, and now it is clear that BGN 150 million have been spent on it. This shows that the money has not reached the companies in need or the employees ", said the economic advisor of the “Podkrepa” Labor Confederation Vanya Grigorova.

"According to official data, the newly unemployed are about 100,000 people. The goal is to provide incentives for jobs and economic growth," claimed Dimitar Brankov, Deputy Chairman of the Bulgarian Industrial Association.

According to him, all this is done in an environment of unreformed structures and policies.

"All the social tensions arose during the state of emergency. When some people feel pressured, there should be a place where they can voice their anger," Grigorova added.

"Lately, a dialogue has been held in the National Council for Tripartite Cooperation. This dialogue should be held in the places determined by the Constitution - in the National Assembly," Brankov told Bulgaria ON AIR.

According to him, there are no quality bodies and institutions in Bulgaria to deal with the long-term strategic management of the country.

"The great danger lies in the fact that we do not know what we will do in the future. There were cases in which a person had to wait for an order from the National Social Security Institute in order to be granted the respective unemployment benefit," explained the economic adviser of Podkrepa.

"The emphasis should be on investment. Economic growth is generated by new jobs and investments, and this is what is lacking in our economy," Dimitar Brankov added.

According to the two guests, synchronization is needed between all sectoral plans.
