BIA General Secretary Dobri Mitrev and Branimir Handzhiev, General Director of International Organizations and Programs at BIA, presented a Certificate of Honorary Membership to the Jean-Marie Standard Chamber, a longtime BIA representative in the European Institutions, in Brussels (Belgium).
Jean-Marie Standard is a Belgian citizen, who has been a permanent BSC delegate to BusinessEurope and a BIA representative in Brussels for 11 years (2006 to 2017). From 1998 to 2006, Jean-Marie Standard, facilitated and provided resources for a number of projects and meetings in Bulgaria , as a representative of the International Labor Organization. Thanks to his efforts, our country has hosted a number of foreign visits to employers from other European countries and has participated in numerous activities in support of Bulgarian employers. Jean-Marie Standard was a factor in promoting BIA's name and image among European institutions and related employers' organizations across Europe.
