Kamen Kolev, Vice President of BIA will attend the UK Presidency Conference of CSR. The Conference is organized by UK Presidency jointly with the EU Commission entitled “Investing in the future: a European conference on CSR and the finance sector”. The event will take place in London on 1-2 December 2005 and focus on how the finance sector can promote CSR.
Panel discussions will be held on: The finance sector – is responsibility its business; Responsible Investment – exploring the topics of Encouraging long-term thinking in a short-term focused environment; Enhancing transparency and improving research of extra-financial risks and opportunities; Climate Change – The risks and opportunities of climate change for the finance sector; Best practice in tackling climate change in the finance sector; Exclusion, Poverty and Development – dwelling upon Encouraging investment in emerging markets.
