The government approved the nomination of Radosvet Radev as a member of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) with a mandate until 2020.
He was nominated by the Economic and Social Council of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Radosvet Radev is the President of the Bulgarian Industrial Association and is a member of the Economic and Social Council’s First Group - Employers.
The EESC is a consultative body of the European Union. It presents views on EU-related issues to the European Commission, the EU Council and the European Parliament, thus acting as a bridge between the EU’s decision-making institutions and the citizens of the Union. The Committee is composed of representatives of employers’ organizations, workers and other structures representing civil society.
