To Mr. Dimitris Daskalopoulos
Chairman
Hellenic Federation of Enterprises

Dear Mr. Daskalopoulos,

I would like to express my deepest concern about recent developments at the Bulgarian – Greek border. The real blockade of the border cross points by the Greek farmers cause significant losses to the Bulgarian economic operators.

Especially during the period of general economic crisis, such acts have destructive impact on the economy and may have negative influence on the Bulgarian – Greek economic and human relations.

Bulgarian companies can not understand how it is possible that Bulgarian protests have never caused damages to Greeks, but Greek ones are not handled the same way.

I would appreciate your influential pressure over the responsible Greek authorities and make them undertake adequate measures to ensure usual traffic through the three border cross points between our countries. We are in contact with the Bulgarian government and may react as soon as it is possible on this major problem.

Looking forward to your response.

Yours sincerely,

Bojidar Danev
