Vocational secondary school “Velizar Peev” in Svoge will be the first high school in the country, which will start accepting students in the subject “Electric vehicles”. The European Polytechnical University (EPU) in Pernik is the first higher educational institution, which received accreditation in the professional sector of “Green energy” and a permission to establish a new bachelor subject “Electric vehicles”. This was announced at the third meeting “Sustainable system for staff training in the electric mobility”, which was organized by Electric Vehicles Industrial Cluster (EVIC), a member of the BIA.
The aim of EVIC as a branch structure is to start the process of interrelationship between secondary and higher educational institutions, vocational and dual training.
Thanks to the longstanding efforts of EVIC in this direction, the vocational high school in Svoge will create a specialized laboratory for research and training of staff and will enrich its infrastructure with stands with electric engines and other instruments, which would help the students work as closely to the real working environment as possible.
