On the 10th of October in the premises of the Bulgarian Industrial Association were honored the winners of Fintrade Business Awards.
On the 10th of October in the premises of the Bulgarian Industrial Association were honored the winners of Fintrade Business Awards. This is the first initiative organized by “Fintrade Finance” JSC, in which participated a few dozen SMEs. 37 projects were evaluated by experts in the second round and six of them competed for the prizes in the final round.
Mrs. Mariyana Vikieva from Plovdiv, owner of “Meli M” Ltd. and her project „Virtual fitting room” were the highest rated by the jury and won first place and a pecuniary prize of BGN 5000 to put her business idea into practice – enrichment of the functionality of the company’s online shop at www.nosii.com with a new design module. Thanks to this innovation customers will have the opportunity to design their own traditional folklore costume and its elements. “Meli M” Ltd. is Bulgaria’s leader in design and production of folklore costumes, traditional musical instruments and accessories.
Second place took Iva Todorova from Sofia – manager of “Taratantsi” Ltd. The company’s mission is to trigger society’s interest to Bulgarian folklore through alternative gaming methods. As a winner of the competition’s second prize, she will receive a 6-month interest-free credit to help her accomplish her project “Puzzle embroidery” – a game in the form of a puzzle book, which contains information about traditional Bulgarian embroidery.
The third prize, also a 6-month interest-free credit, went to Mr. Dragomir Apostolov from Svoge and his company “Magic Green Land – MGL” Ltd. The company operates in the field of clearing derelict and neglected areas of the urban environment. The prize will be used for buying new machines for the further development of their business.
