Bulgaria’s year-on-year exports to the EU in May 2016 are up by 4.4 percent, reaching 1.23 billion euro.

Bulgaria’s year-on-year exports to the EU in May 2016 are up by 4.4 percent, reaching 1.23 billion euro or approximately 2.39 billion Leva; imports are up by 0.9 percent, reaching 1.34 billion euro or approximately 2.6 billion Leva, the National Statistical Institute has announced. Exports to non-EU countries are down in June on a year-on-year basis by 13.6 percent, (648 million euro); imports from non-EU countries are also down by 12 percent (723 million euro).
