Bulgarian Parliament has ratified an agreement for a loan amounting to EUR 500 million signed between Bulgaria and the European Investment Bank under the project “Bulgaria - co-financing with EU Funds”. The loan is to support national financing mainly under Operational Programmes Transport and Transport Policy; Environmental Protection; Regions in Growth, because these programmes will be financing especially strategic infrastructure projects of national importance, which are among the priorities of the EIB. The term of the loan is 25 years with a 7-years gratuitous period.
