Every year Bulgarians pay more for health services, alarms citing a report of the BIA. For the past six years, costs for one person rose by 58%, while public spending rose by only 23 percent.
The trend is increasing percentage of the expenses of the private sector at the expense of the public. In 2002, the official health insurance for one person was 33 euro, while in 2012 the amount rose to over 100 euro, data by the Bulgarian Industrial Association show.
