Dear readers,
The bell rang for the autumn issue of the “Noblesse Oblige” magazine.
This issue is dedicated to the next topic that Bulgarians understand the most after politics and football, namely education and human resources. We tried to be impartial and once again look for the best examples to share with you.
In the issue you will find expert comments from the team of the Bulgarian Industrial Association and the Regionsl Industrial Association - Vratsa, as well as interviews with the rectors of five of the leading universities in Bulgaria (Sofia University, Technical university, University of national and world economy, University of architecture, civil engineering and geodesy and New Bulgarian university), with the Mayor of Vratsa Kalin Kamenov, with the Head of the Regional Department of Education in Vratsa Loreta Koleva, and with the President of the Bulgarian Association for People Management Detelina Smilkova. The Chair of the Foundation for Modern Education Petya Eftimova talks about the place of artificial intelligence in education, the experts from Karoll Capital Management advise us on how to ensure sufficient funds for the education of our children, and good examples in the field of human resources and education are shared by the companies dm Bulgaria, Philip Morris Bulgaria and Asarel Medet AD.
The region in focus this time is Vratsa – a city like the Balkan – ancient and young, to which the road is literally scary, but at the same time glorious, because it leads to an untapped potential for tourism, business, education and culture, and is becoming an increasingly better place to live. We will tell you about the Vratsa stone and the " Vrachanska Temenuga" to find out why they are among the emblems of the city. We will introduce you to the history of "Cheh Plast", to the human resources of Holcim Bulgaria AD, to the successes of the construction company "Inex Trade", to the training opportunities at the Vocational High School "Dimitraki Hadzhitoshin", as well as to several key places that you must visit if we have already drawn your attention to the city of Vratsa - hotel complex "Chaika" and café-bar "Velvet" because in this city even the drinking establishments have a history...
Special thanks to the team of the Regional History Museum - Vratsa, who prepared material about Mito Orozov - an industrial genius that Bulgaria should be proud of and remember, and also because he allowed us to participate in the activities of the Youth Center - Vratsa, which we also talk about in the publication.
As in each issue, we have collected up-to-date statistics on the main topic. We present the new products and services of Leaders Group and Lesaffre Bulgaria. We introduce you to the new members of BIA, and this time they are a record number. We remind you of our half-year work in pictures, we charge you with "The Energy of the Young" – our joint column with the "Tuk-Tam" Association, and we find answers to existential questions with our youngest readers.
For the first time, the first cover of the magazine is the work of artificial intelligence, because ours was busy preparing an event dedicated to the full membership of Bulgaria and Romania in Schengen. On the other hand, on the second cover is Barin Sports – a Bulgarian company, where the intellect is not in deficit, but is at a world level!
Good luck in reading comprehension!
