The FRACTALS consortium is inviting experts for the evaluation of proposals received from the FRACTALS Open Call. Interested experts must have expertise in applications of ICT in the agricultural sector (including animal husbandry and apiculture) and more specifically in one (or more) of the following fields:
  • ICT applications for enhancing productivity on the farm 
  • ICT applications for markets and value chains of agricultural products
  • ICT applications for provision of public services in the agricultural sector. 
We welcome experts from business, academia/research and the public sector. Interested experts are expected to have excellent English language skills.  
 
Specific expertise on FIWARE technologies will be considered an asset. Selected experts with no previous experience in the FIWARE technologies will have to attend a training course related to FIWARE technologies in the form of a webinar.
 
Expertise in the evaluation of EU-funded proposals will be considered an asset. All selected experts (including those with previous expertise in evaluating EU-funded proposals) will have to attend a training course related to the FRACTALS evaluation method.
 
All selected experts will have to sign a Declaration of no Conflict of Interests and Confidentiality
 
In total ~120 experts for evaluation of proposals are going to be selected.
 
Registration

Selection and contracts

During December 2014, evaluators will be selected according to their expertise. Selected experts will become evaluators after contract signature with the FRACTALS consortium. Each evaluator’s workload is estimated on total in 25-30 productive working hours, to be delivered in three weeks time.  Evaluators will be compensated for their work. The gross fee per evaluator is estimated to 1.000 euros. For evaluators from counties other than the Republic of Serbia the net fee will be ranging from 886,00 to 971,00 Euros, depending on Double Taxation Treaties between their country of origin and the Republic of Serbia. For evaluators from the Republic of Serbia the net fee will be ranging from 80.811,71 to 105.434,00 RSD, depending on their employment status.   All selected evaluators should note that they will bear the banking expenses related to the payment of the fees.
