NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR INTEGRATION OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES
Functions
The National Council for People with Disabilities is a consultative body that includes representatives of: the state, designated by the Council of Ministers, the nationally representative organizations of people with disabilities, the nationally representative organizations for people with disabilities, the nationally representative organizations of workers and employees, the nationally representative organizations of employers and the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria. The normative acts for people with disabilities are adopted after a preliminary opinion of the National Council for the Integration of People with Disabilities. Main objective of the Council: Cooperation in the development and implementation of a policy in the field of integration of people with disabilities. The Council was established on the basis of Art. 17 of the People with Disabilities Act.
