Dear readers,
In the first month of the New Year we are together again. This is a sign that, despite everything, in the dynamic 2021, we survived, and now we will have to survive in 2022, otherwise it would not make sense from the thousands of New Year's wishes received and another booster dose of vaccine.
Let us grit our teeth to meet inflation, high electricity prices, higher labor costs, higher raw material prices, the new change in our country and the new faces who will come across the old problems.
Let's open our eyes to those who continue to invest, create jobs, return home, improve the environment and do their job without loud fanfare, but with a lot of thought for the future.
Our modest but meaningful team did not think of many such sectors in the country's economy, so we decided to dedicate the first issue of the magazine for 2022 to mechanical engineering - an industry about which little is known, but which provides jobs in over 120 000 people. The companies from the sub-sectors of mechanical engineering generate about 10% of GDP and about a quarter of Bulgarian exports, with high added value.
In this issue we will visit some of the key factories, we will meet you with the managers who create the machines and with the machines who not only do not "eat" the jobs, but contribute to their creation. We will reveal details about Kazanlak as an economic and educational destination, but above all as a center of the machine-building industry in our country.
We will introduce you to the goals of the companies for the current year, with new products and services, with current data and economic analyzes, with the champion companies, with the prospects for the automation of the industry and electric mobility.
In this issue you will find the opinion of 3-year-olds and 77-year-olds, because every point of view can move the gears of the thought process in a person, and this is our goal.
