INTERNATIONAL IP ENFORCEMENT SUMMIT

The fifth edition of the International IP Enforcement Summit, hosted by the European Commission, the EUIPO and the Patent Office of Bulgaria in Sofia, will unite key European and international decision-makers, law enforcement authorities, multinational companies and other stakeholders. Opportunities for improving the enforcement of IP rights in the EU and globally will be discussed. The summit will focus on how innovation and cooperation can best tackle IP crime in the context of the European Multidisciplinary Platform Against Criminal Threat (EMPACT). It will also be an opportunity to address the EU Toolbox against counterfeiting to be adopted in 2023 and follow up on the adoption of the Digital Services Act.
