The Ideas Powered for Business of the SME Fund is a € 20 million grant scheme aimed at supporting the access of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Europe to intellectual property rights.
A European Commission initiative, the SME Fund is implemented by the EUIPO to support businesses in developing their IP strategies and protecting their IP rights, at national, regional or EU level.
What are the benefits?
- A maximum of EUR 1500 can be reimbursed to each SME.
- 75% reimbursement on IP pre-diagnostic services (IP Scan)
- 50% reimbursement on trade mark and design basic application fees
The fund is in its last phase (window) for 2021, which will be open until October 31.
